486 support ends
Linux kernel is leaving 486 CPUs behind, only 18 years after the last one made. Linus Torvalds sees "zero real reason for anybody to waste one second" on them. Intel's i486 was the first "computer number" I ever really understood.
Skype ends
Skype retires. This change will impact both free and paid Skype users, encouraging them to migrate to Teams Free, where they can continue using similar features and access their existing chats and contacts. Users who prefer not to move to Teams can export their Skype data.
