What is FlatPress
FlatPress is a lightweight, easy-to-set-up blogging engine. Plain and simple, just PHP. No database needed! Being around since 2006, FlatPress is mature and well-tested.

Installing FlatPress
- Unzip the file into your /var/www directory and configure your Apache to point to this directory using virtual host configuration. We are setting up a test site so we will not use any certs and to avoid any complications with blocking to Http we will use Falkon browser. We will use test.site.com as an example of the site.
- Navigate to http://test.site.com/setup.php
- Click on Next>.
- You will need to enter enter and username, password and an email. Then click on Next>.
